Located within heart of Mogadishu along the Wadnaha Road, Kalkaal Hospital Afarta Darjiin remains one of the most easily and securely accessible private hospitals within the city. It’s location within the Afarta Darjin area allows for a quick and safe access by both the corporate class and general public without undermining both security and the quality of health care provided.
Founded in 2022; an era when Somalia so badly needed a health care upgrade, as it picks up pieces of its structures that were shattered during the conflict; the hospital’s mission is to provide high quality yet very affordable health care to the people living in Somalia.
The foundation and the hospital are governed by the same Board of Trustees, made up of local leaders committed to the importance of philanthropy and fulfilling the hospital’s mission.
