Allied Health
An allied health practitioner is a tertiary trained professional who works with others in the health-care team to support a person’s medical care. The Hospital offers a variety of allied health services that will work with patients and the health care team to support their diagnosis, recovery and quality of life.
Such services in the hospital include; community liaison, child health, diabetes education, dietetics, medical imaging, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physiotherapy, respiratory management, speech therapy and social work

In Patient, Intensive Care Unit and Day Care
We are committed to providing continuity of care at all stages of the healthcare pathway for patients. This means that we not only provide patients with medical support in the form of technical and diagnostic procedures but aim to ensure that the emotional and psychological needs of patients are met throughout their stay.
The hospital has got 150 in-patient beds; 10 intensive care beds and 10 Day care Emergency care beds.
Our in patient, and Intensive Care Unit, provides 24/7 health care service delivery to ensure quicker and quality recovery to patients in our care.
The Intensive Care Unit provides treatment for critically ill patients that need a level of life support.
The Day Care provides a facility where unstable patients (that are otherwise not as ill to get admitted) can rest and gain some stability as they receive care and treatment from our dedicated staff during the day before discharge to their homes. It’s a daytime facility

Excellence in Surgeries
The Hospital carries out a variety of specialist surgeries. The hospital has carried out up to 1340 surgeries under General anesthesia between May 2016 and December 2017. This work is all made possible by our dedicated team in the departments, these include; Anesthesiologist, General Surgeon, Urologists, Obstetrician and Gynecologists, Oral-Maxillofacial Surgeon, ENT specialist, all using the state of the art technology and equipment to bring their work to reality.

Piooneer in Emergency Handling
The accident and emergency department provides emergency medical services to patients who may suffer from trauma, cardiac arrests, mental illness, asthma and heart attacks. During care at the emergency, it’s our hospital commitment that we use the best of our trained health care team to provide assistance to the patient that will reduce the likelihood further injury, and ultimately minimize the patient from suffering.
Patients with major injuries are initially treated in the emergency department but later handled by a specialized trauma department. A trauma team, which is trained in the principles of the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), takes over treatment of the victim.
Emergency services provided in the accident and emergency department may vary from simple x-rays and setting of broken bones, to activating a full-fledged trauma care team to take over management of the patient care. If critical care is provided within the critical time frame “golden hour”, chances of survival of the patient are greatly improved with the kind of care provided.
Some of the common cases handled include; Trauma injuries from blasts and gunshots, severe bleeding that cannot be stopped, Fits, Loss of consciousness, Poisoning, breathing difficulties, Sports injuries, Head and spinal cord injuries, Pediatric emergencies, Industrial accidents, Burns
due to a fire accident, Road accident multiple injuries, Fall injuries.
